Comprehensive Overview of:
o History and modern use of carriages in adaptive situations
o Carriage Association of America (CAA) Proficiency Model
o Antique carriage and modern vehicles
o Evaluation of minis, ponies, and horses as therapeutic equines

Participants will receive an eight-week proficiency-based syllabus, with inclusionary approaches to fit client’s various needs

Clinicians Will Include:
o Cherylann Parker, M.Ed.: Specializes in Communication Disorders, several certifications in both regular and special education, Director of curriculum for a regional school system (retired), CAA Level 1 and Road Driving Certified Carriage Driver
o Ann Miles, Ph.D.: Executive Director, Educator, PATH Certified Therapeutic Driving Instructor, over two decades of working with an inclusive population of students in adaptive carriage driving
o Emily Chase: The Carriage Barn Program Director, PATH Certified Therapeutic Driving Instructor, CAA Level 1 and Road Driving Certified Carriage Driver
